One camera platform for Zone 1 and safe areas.
The Scout range covers fixed and crane-mounted CCTV for offshore installations, in hazardous Zone 1 (Ex d) and safe-area (NonEx) versions. Every model shares a rugged 316L stainless steel housing, true day/night imaging and 18x optical zoom (28x optional on Ex d models), so you can standardise on one camera platform across your asset.

Zone 1 hazardous area cameras
The Scout 100C and 100F Exd are industrial-grade cameras for hazardous Zone 1 environments, in a durable 316L stainless steel housing built for extreme temperatures and corrosive atmospheres offshore and onshore.
They come in a crane-mount housing (100C) or a fixed-mount housing (100F), with an identical core specification. A dedicated Zone 1 crane variant, the Scout FO100 Exde, is a direct replacement for the TNXCC 100 crane camera.
Easy installation
Compact form factor with a pre-terminated pigtail for straightforward connection to a junction box.
Low-light performance
Integrated auto-correct for low-light conditions gives clear, sharp images around the clock.
High-resolution imaging
18x optical zoom as standard, optional 28x; true day/night with autofocus (manual override) and auto-iris.
Integrated heating
Thermostatically controlled heating prevents fogging in cold environments.
Resilient cabling
Halogen-free, mud-resistant Cat7 cable for video, telemetry and power.
Secured mounting
Camera and mounting systems secured with a Certex-approved safety wire.
Safe-area and IP models
Scout 100C / 100F NonEx
Safe-area equivalents of the Exd range, with HAD CCD image sensor, F1.4 to F3.0 lens, autofocus, autoiris and 18x optical zoom, for crane and fixed-mount installations where hazardous-area certification is not required.
SC 100 / SC 100Exde ME4
Marine-grade protection with IP network connectivity for offshore environments. The Exde ME4 variant adds explosion-proof protection for hazardous zones, with the same IP network integration.
BT100IP Exde
Exd-certified camera with optional stainless steel mounting brackets, H.264 streaming up to 1080p at 30fps, autofocus, autoiris, 30x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom.
