Offshore monitoring systems bring together sensors, instruments and specialist technologies from several manufacturers. Their value depends on how reliably the data is acquired, validated, processed, presented and shared.
WISE Group develops the core software used across many of our monitoring systems. Where specialist equipment includes its own software, we integrate it into the wider system and operational workflow.
The objective is not to sell software in isolation. It is to deliver a coherent monitoring system that provides operators with the information they need through the interfaces they are expected to use.
One monitoring system, not a collection of software packages
A monitoring scope may include sensors, data loggers, specialist equipment and third-party systems from several manufacturers. Without a considered integration strategy, the result can be separate displays, inconsistent data handling and fragmented responsibility.
WISE Group provides the system architecture needed to bring the relevant information together. Our in-house platforms give us control over the core acquisition, processing, calculation, alarm, visualisation and reporting functions. Specialist third-party technologies are incorporated where they provide the right capability for the application.
This approach gives the customer one engineered monitoring solution rather than a collection of individual products that must be made to work together after delivery.

Software engineered into our monitoring solutions
These platforms provide important capabilities within or alongside monitoring systems designed and delivered by WISE Group. They are presented here to explain the technology and engineering ownership behind our systems, not as a catalogue of standalone software products.
DADAS
Data acquisition, processing and operator displays
WISE Group's principal software platform for environmental, helideck, motion, structural and condition monitoring systems. DADAS acquires and validates data, performs calculations, manages alarms and presents the information through project-specific operator displays and reports.
RUPDB
Real-time processing for position-critical systems
A controlled real-time platform used for position and excursion monitoring, pipeline telemetry and tanker berthing applications. RUPDB combines validated acquisition, geometry-based calculations, structured alarm handling and historical analysis.
Orbalux
Secure cloud access and data sharing
WISE Group's cloud platform for real-time dashboards, historical data, controlled sharing and integration across individual installations and multi-asset operations. Orbalux extends monitoring data beyond the local system without requiring inbound access to the operational network.
AIM Embedded Software
Embedded motion-processing technology
Embedded software developed for WISE Group's AIM motion sensors and wave measurement products. It provides real-time processing for six-degree-of-freedom motion and other application-specific measurements within the sensor platform.
PACE
Supported legacy monitoring software
The legacy Processing & Collection Engine originally developed by Muir Matheson. PACE remains supported for existing installations and can forward data to Orbalux. New WISE Group monitoring systems are normally based on current WISE Group platforms.
Integrating specialist technology
Developing software in-house does not mean replacing every specialist application. Some instruments and subsystems provide dedicated software that remains the right tool for its particular function.
WISE Group incorporates these technologies into the wider monitoring architecture. Depending on the project scope, this may include exchanging data, presenting selected information, coordinating operator access or providing interfaces to other customer systems.
A weather radar is one example. The specialist radar application can remain part of the delivery while the radar and its relevant outputs are integrated into the complete monitoring solution. The same principle applies to other specialist instruments and third-party systems.
Software shaped by the monitoring application
What the software must do is decided by what is being measured and how the information will be used. Each WISE Group monitoring system is engineered around that requirement, using these platforms alongside the specialist technology the application calls for.
