Certified to deliver CAP 437 compliant Helideck Monitoring Systems

WISE Group is now finally certified by CAA to deliver CAP 437 compliant Helideck Monitoring Systems (HMS) for rev 9b

Offshore Helideck Monitoring Systems worldwide are currently undergoing a major upgrade when the official CAA regulation CAP 437 is moving to the new revision numbered 9b.

For these systems this implies that a set of brand new GUIs / displays are installed and also that a set of Helideck Repeater Lights need to be installed on all certified offshore helidecks. These measures are considered very important to maintain the highest safety level on offshore vessels, platforms and other installations.

WISE Group, including WISE Group – Automasjon & Data and WISE Group – Muir Matheson, have been working on this development for a long time and have now received the official certificate from CAA International (Civil Aviation Authority) as an approved supplier and installation partner for such systems.

Helideck Monitoring System Upgrade

This is to certify that the above product has been evaluated against the relevant specifications contained in Standard Helideck Monitoring Systems Rev 9b 2020 11 01 referenced in UK CAA CAP 437 Standards for Offshore Helicopter Landing Areas from 8th Edition, dated 9th December 2016 and found to be compliant.

L430 Helideck Monitoring System Repeater Light

The L430 is Orga's Helideck Monitoring System (HMS) Repeater Light specifically designed to indicate the helideck operational status. The Helideck Monitoring System Repeater Light provides direct visual information from the helideck to the helicopter flight crew about the motion status of the helideck during landing and potential unsafe wind conditions after landing.
