Monitoring usually arrives as separate instrument packages, each with its own software, its own screen and its own support arrangement. The operator is left running five systems, with nobody answerable for the measurement.

We work the other way round. Every system starts from what has to be measured and which standard applies. We engineer the instruments, software, displays and interfaces into one system, deliver it with the documentation and testing your build requires, and support it for the life of the asset.

Helideck monitoring, to the standard your asset is approved under

The WISE Group Helideck Monitoring System reports and records the conditions a helicopter has to land in — wind, visibility, cloud base, pressure and temperature, together with pitch, roll and significant heave rate on a moving deck — and presents them the way the approving regulation requires.

HMS carries a separate code base for each regulatory regime, so an installation is configured to the standard that applies to it rather than to all of them at once: CAP 437 on the UK Continental Shelf, BSL D 5-1 in Norway, NORMAM-223 in Brazil. Our helideck software is delivered to CAP 437 edition 9c.

Critical assets in harsh places are where a monitoring system earns its keep, and where a cheap one quietly stops reporting. Ours are specified, built and verified so the number on the screen can carry a decision.
